The first LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set has been officially revealed, depicting yet another buildable figure with no minifigures, but don't lose hope just yet.
If you had a nickel for every 2026 theme that started with a buildable figure set, you'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. LEGO Shrek and KPop Demon Hunters have that in common, both starting with a group of buildable figures. 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird is the equivalent of 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots for KPop Demon Hunters, but is missing any minifigures, whereas the Shrek set has Puss in Boots.
Shrek has already been confirmed to receive a full minifigure series later this year, and there's similarly no need to panic about the lack of minifigures in 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird yet. The LEGO Group confirmed back when the partnership was announced that this is only the first LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set. More will be available next year.
There's still reason to hope for LEGO Huntrix minifigures or mini-dolls, though such an outcome is far from confirmed. We know that the LEGO Group welcomes the idea of KPop Demon Hunters minifigures, though, since seven designs exist in Fortnite.
Fortnite features LEGO Styles for Mira, Rumi and Zoey in both their casual and Golden outfits. There's also another outfit for Jinu, complete with a LEGO Style. Any official LEGO KPop Demon Hunters minifigures may adopt different designs entirely, but these Fortnite outfits are a hopeful sign for the future.
For now, 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird is it for LEGO KPop Demon Hunters, and it will be on shelves from August 1. Look forward to more sets in the theme in 2027.
